Servicing and Support

From day one, you’ll have a qualified technician on hand to keep your simulator running at its best. They’ll be fully trained during the final stages of your build, so they know your system inside out and can handle first-line maintenance with confidence.

For complete peace of mind, your first year includes full support at no extra cost; covering all parts, labour, and software updates. After that, we offer flexible Service Level Agreements tailored to your needs, including support, scheduled maintenance and additional training.

With the right expertise, ongoing care, and timely updates, your simulator will deliver years of reliable, high-performance operation.

Installation

Our team will provide all the components and expertise needed to assemble your simulator on site. In some cases, specialist lifting equipment may be required, which will need to be arranged locally. We may also recommend installing permanent lifting mechanisms to make future maintenance and servicing easier. Any required lifting equipment will remain the responsibility of the customer to provide when needed.

Certification

Certification costs are included in the purchase of your Full Flight Simulator. Some aspects of the process will depend on the Management System and compliance framework of The Operator’s Approved Training Organisation, and will remain their responsibility. Our team will provide guidance and support to ensure these requirements are clearly understood and completed before certification takes place.

Flight Test

Working with an approved design organisation, we will conduct the necessary flight test profiles to produce the qualification test guide for your simulator. The Operator will have full rights to use this data for their purchased device. The process will require a suitable aircraft for a defined period, with certain preparation work carried out before flying. Our team and partners will handle all required approvals, and the Operator will be kept informed and supported throughout the process.

Timeline

Some components of the simulator have extended lead times, which can influence the overall delivery schedule. From deposit to final assembly, the build process typically takes around 12 months. Certification is completed once assembly is finished, with timeframes varying depending on the authority involved.

Possible Options to Consider Outside the Basic EASA-Regulated Provision

In addition to the standard EASA-certified configuration, a range of optional features and upgrades can be incorporated to enhance capability, realism, and training flexibility. These can be tailored to meet the operational and regulatory needs of The Operator.

Additional Certification

  • FAA Certification – Includes all necessary documentation, resolution of authority concerns, and technical manpower during the certification process (regulatory fees not included)
  • UK CAA Certification – Includes all necessary documentation, resolution of authority concerns, and technical manpower during the certification process (regulatory fees not included)

Platform & System Upgrades

  • Provision for Future Aircraft Type Upgrades – Ability to configure for additional aircraft variants, including interchangeable panels, profile configurations, engine display compatibility, selectable boot profiles, and interchangeable labelling
  • Smoke Generator – Simulates cockpit smoke and fumes for emergency training scenarios
  • FLIR for Night & Low Visibility Operations – Provides simulated low-visibility and night training via integrated displays or auxiliary monitors
  • Enhanced 12-Channel 3D Cockpit Sound – Improves immersion with realistic, real-time audio feedback from engines, environment, and systems
  • CCTV Cockpit Monitoring – Enables live observation and recording of training sessions

Instructor & Training Tools

  • Remote Instructor Station (Cockpit-Based) – Allows the instructor to operate controls from a pilot seat
  • Remote Instructor Web-Based Access – Enables offsite instructors to log in and provide real-time guidance during training (requires cockpit-based remote instructor option)
  • Data Recording & Playback – Advanced session recording and playback systems for detailed debriefs
  • EFB Integration – Simulated Electronic Flight Bag functionality with geo-located tablets and aerodrome charts
  • Multi-Simulator Training – Network multiple simulators for joint training exercises, mission planning, or coordinated operations (requires high-speed internet)
  • ATC Integration – Communicate with virtual or online air traffic control for complex operational scenarios
